Even the most powerful motors’ true power lies in the precision. Recently, we had the pleasure of attending the acceptance of two of our motors for a customs boat. We will be equipping three customs boats with our electric motors in total.
Joined by customs and our customer as well as a representative of Lloyd’s Register classification society, we attended the Factory Acceptance Test – a thorough test to ensure that our motors meet our customer’s specific requirements.
Tests of this kind are always quite exciting and our driving force to make sure every motor runs perfectly.
It is crucial to inspect large electric motors like these thoroughly as they are used as important auxiliary drives, while the main drive is powered by diesel.
